| |
| Nestling in Lancashire's Hill Country, the Ribble Valley is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, rich in associations from JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, to the Witches of Pendle Hill, and the War of the Roses. With such a variety of walks to choose from, each day is a chance to discover another hidden gem as we venture through pretty hamlets and villages and explore the surrounding Ancient Forest of Bowland. During our tour we will also step across into the Yorkshire Dales and visit the Duke of Devonshires Bolton Abbey estate, an impressive estate dating back to the 12th century. |
