Esk Gorge Plunge Pools and Canyoning
Maximum adventure, maximum fun. A full weekend making the most of the magnificent Esk Gorge. A long series of waterfalls and fantastic pools to paddle in, swim in and jump in. A dramatic 5 metre deep pool possible for high jumps plus many smaller pools for smaller jumps and perfect for swimming or lying on your back and floating around. A great wild swimming location in breathtaking Lakeland scenery.
Saturday night: Evening dinner either at the hostel or the local Inn close by and enjoyable social evening with the group.
Full wetsuits are available and any necessary water activity clothing provided

A 45 minutes uphill walk involved to reach the best bits of the gorge.
Summary Itinerary
- Day 1 - Check in available from 5pm. Refreshments upon arrival. Welcome evening at 8.30pm
- Day 2 - Plunge pools and waterfalls, a day of Canyoning and wild swimming.
- Day 3 - Departure day. Plunge, pools and wild swimming. The adventure weekend will finish at 2pm after a picnic lunch.
